This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring.  robot vacuum cleaner cheap  refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand that other robots can't. And it did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to know if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. These bots also have many additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums be a bit sloppy. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little misses in corners and on walls.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it will assist you in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is one of the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price price.

If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive however it comes with more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, just snap on one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The main characteristic that sets the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to make an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and offers similar battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require more emptying.  robot vacuum cleaner on sale  comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
